The $32 Pinterest E-Course That Helped Me Boost My Blog Traffic As A New Blogger

If you haven’t already read my first month blogging post – definitely have a read of it right here.

There is an ugly side to blogging and in that post I share with with the in’s and out’s of blogging as a new blogger.

No, you won’t see 10,000 page views overnight or any kind of income (unless you’re just super amazing and lucky).

My first month blogging brought me in 58 page views and zero income! Now into my second month of blogging, I can actually start to see results and am thrilled that my blog is slowly growing day by day.

I have started many blogs in the past and hoped to gain traction fast – and unfortunately, it just was not the case and probably won’t be the case for you too.

You know what happened to those blogs? They all got deleted because I felt like I was totally burned out and I was not consistent enough. I didn’t even want or felt the need to write!

If you create a blog and you can’t figure out what you want to write about, list down some ideas and go from there. You don’t want to be like me and start many, many blogs and feel like you’re going no where!

Tip: Choose a topic that you know you will love to write about day in and day out. If you end up choosing a topic that you don’t love to write about, you will find yourself a dead beat blog and feeling forced to write about something that you don’t really want to write about.

A quick note about blog traffic

My blog traffic is still very small and day by day it is increasing and working its way up. I am not here to show you how I received tens of thousands of views in just a few months – no way! I am here to show you how if you put in consistency and the work – you will see those results, even if they are small at first!

A quick note about investing in Pinterest courses

Can you count on one hand how many Pinterest courses there are out there? Nope!

And what about those courses that claim to be so great, but charge you an arm and a leg to buy their course? Not so great!

You do not need to spend hundreds of dollars (sometimes up to $1,000) on a good Pinterest course!

Take it from me, I had purchased a Pinterest course for about $397 USD which is about $550 Aussie dollars – how expensive is that? Turns out the course actually got stale quickly and didn’t get updated for nearly over a year!

It’s not that I don’t recommend expensive Pinterest courses – cause there are some good ones out there, it’s more so me saying, ‘spend with caution, cause I have been down that path’.

You will seriously be so lucky to grab a good, hardy Pinterest course for $32 – you won’t really find that price anywhere else.

Now, let’s get to the good stuff!

I first discovered Pinterest with Ell earlier in 2018 and snagged it for her intro price of $10 – yes, total bargain or what? However, it wasn’t until just recently I started implementing all of the strategies outlined in her course.

I said to myself, “try and stick with one course and one course only“. If only I had listened to my own advice earlier haha! Seriously, save yourself the trouble and the headache.

With that being said, I did mention in my first month blogging post that I did use Lauren’s course and Carly Campbell’s Pinteresting Stratergies course and the two work hand in hand together – which is a plus!

Please keep in mind that you won’t see quick and fast results and you have to put in the work.

Here’s what my Pinterest Analytics looked like when I first started Hello Tegan.

Nothing too great, right? That’s okay!

Here’s where Pinterest with Ell comes in!

Even though I already knew a bit about Pinterest and what it had to offer, I decided it would be best to read through entire course from start to finish – just to make sure I didn’t miss anything important.

Lauren divides her course up into seven sections, starting off with blogging basics and finishes off with how to increase affiliate sales on Pinterest.

Lauren will walk you through everything you need to know – she definitely has you covered! Lauren also shows you her exact pinning strategy, which helped a lot! This is the part of the course which I focused on a lot.

Take down notes and loads of them!

Yes, notes are so important! Take down loads of notes and refer back to them later. Even if your notes make no sense to others – they will make absolute sense to you.

Wanna steal my notes? Find out more information at the end of my post!

Don’t just skim through what you think you already know!

As mentioned above – I started from top to toe and didn’t miss a thing! Even if you think you may know something, I find it to be really important to read through everything!

Read over the course

With any course, it is easier to read over the course to get the gist of what you’ll be learning. So take a read over Pinterest with Ell and get a feel of the course.

Read, rinse and repeat!

Okay, so going through the course once will not help you! If you read, rinse and repeat several times – things will start to glue for you. Don’t think reading it once and then applying the strategies will work right away.

Go back and see what you’ve missed (or missing) and implement it!

There is no need to rush

This is a lesson that I have had to learn the hard way! Why rush? There is absolutely no point!

Take the course at your own pace – rushing won’t give you the results that you want to see. So please don’t rush. (:

Why Pinterest with Ell is amazing!

It suits all budgets!

Yes, Lauren’s course is priced at $32 – super affordable. Which is amazing within itself, especially because the course is jam packed with so much valuable information.

Don’t believe that the course is only $32? Have a look here!

As mentioned above you won’t really find a good Pinterest course for $32!

The investment won’t damage your bank account!

Everyone has the right to learn!

She breaks down everything you need to know

Showing you everything you need to know from your own personal boards, right through to group boards and onto Tailwind Tribes! – Tailwind Tribes are seriously a huge lifesaver!

There’s zero fluff! Yay!

She outlines her EXACT strategy

This is what I truly love about her course. Lauren outlines her exact pinning strategy – which will guide you when it comes to your own pinning strategy – especially as a new blogger.

What really worked for me

I decided to bite the bullet and purchase Tailwind Tribes unlimited and it was literally the best decision ever!

After sharing my content to multiple Tailwind Tribes I started to see more traffic – I was thrilled.

I highly recommend giving Tailwind and Tailwind Tribes ago – it’s definitely worth it and you will see results!

Give Tailwind ago for free by clicking here! – no credit card required on signup. Yay for Tailwind!

I also created multiple pins for the same post and shared those to my personal boards, a few group boards and tribes and could see great results.

Here are my Pinterest Analytics as of 17 November 2018.

How many times a day do you pin?

I try to aim for at least 30 pins with my own content in my schedule a day using Tailwind and then I like to manually pin for around 10-15 minutes per day.

The more content I keep producing the more I will pin.

If you are consistent with what you’re doing, you’ll definitely see results. Keep being consistent and working hard and you will get there.

If you’re not putting in the effort your results wont show.

So, you wanna steal my notes?

I have a tonne of notes from Lauren’s course which helped immensely and they’ll definitely help you too!

If you want to steal my notes, simply purchase a copy of Pinterest with Ell and forward me a copy of your receipt of purchase to and I’ll send you my notes for free!
