I cannot believe Hello Tegan Blog is already five months old! It’s crazy how time flies and we’re already onto another blog progress report.
February was a very interesting month, to say the least, and probably one of the most unproductive months, blog wise and at the moment March is paying for the work I did not do in February.
I really want to start to be as transparent as possible in my blog progress reports and share with you the highs and lows. There was definitely some lows during February and I wish I had pushed myself a little more.
I am honestly happy to share these reports with you and I hope that you do enjoy them.

Fifth Month Blogging Progress Report – The Highs and Lows to Blogging
I was hoping to get over 2,500 page views during the month of February. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case and I won’t go pointing the finger at the fact that it was a short month and I can’t go pointing the finger at anyone else too.
As I have mentioned in previous blog progress reports you have to be consistent. Consistency is key!
Here you can see my page views for the month of February are 1,604.
My worst day for page views was on February 15th and 16th were I received 22 views each day. My best day for page views was on February 19th which was 167.
I’m hoping to bring my page views up again during the rest of March. So far, they have been incredibly low. So I am going to work my little butt off and bring those views back up!
MY MOST POPULAR PINTEREST PIN FOR THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY
I honestly wish I paid more attention, which I definitely did not. Let’s just say – thank goodness for Pinterest Analytics.
Here’s my most popular pin for the month of February.
I’m super happy that this pin was popular during February. I feel like everyone needs a little motivation boost to help get things done and it’s not a blog post about blogging – which is always a plus.
MY MOST POPULAR POST FOR THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY
The two go hand in hand with each other. My How To Stay Motivated And Get S**T Done post was the most popular post during the month of February.
As mentioned above, I’m glad this one was the most popular as it was geared towards the lifestyle section of Hello Tegan.
I do plan to add more lifestyle posts, as well as more motivational posts – cause I think we all need some motivation. I would like to fix up my categories section of Hello Tegan, so it’s a little easier to navigate rather than just having, ‘lifestyle’ and ‘blogging tips’.
So, if you’re feeling a little less than motivated I definitely recommend giving this post a read
One particular post that has been bringing in traffic consistently (even if my page views have been pretty low lately) is How I Made My First Affiliate Sale In Less Than 24 Hours post. This post has now received over 2,000+ shares and honestly, I never thought that one of my posts would ever receive that many shares!
If you haven’t had a read of that post yet, definitely go ahead and have a read – it is worth it.
During the month of February I gained 35 news subscribers and I also lost a few along the way too. It does feel like a bit of downer when you do a lose a subscriber, but I do know it’s the way that it is as well and there is always room for more.
I do want to nurture my email list some more. I really do love sending out newsletters, finding out with everyone what they would like to see and having the occasional giveaway.
Last month I asked my list what they would like to see from me. I sent the email out and had zero responses. I then decided to host a giveaway where you could win a $20 Amazon gift card and then I received a few responses.
I do have plans on having monthly giveaways, so if you if you’d like to join my email list you can do so below.
Please note that I am sharing my income as it is earned and not paid out.
I was not expecting to make any income during February, as I was not promoting a lot of my posts which make me income.
I did make one affiliate sale from my favourite affiliate marketing course, Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing.
If you’re looking to take a good affiliate marketing course and you want to learn the ropes from scratch, I highly recommend taking Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing – it’s a total game changer and will literally save you many hours trying to figure out how to make affiliate sales.
This is the course that helped me make my first affiliate sale in less than 24 hours.
Total income for February – $42.00USD.
If you didn’t already know, I’m an Australian blogger, however most of my readers are from the USA. To keep things simple all of my income and blogging expenses are in US dollars.
Yes, it was a dip compared to January but I was still happy that I did make actually make income during February.
I did have a few extra expenses during the month of February, however, they were 100% worth it and the money that I had paid out to me in February covered my main expenses. How cool is that?
Canva for Work – $12.95. Canva for work is the bee’s knees and I totally recommend purchasing it if you haven’t already. I do pay for it monthly, however, there is an annual option too. I love how I can upload my own fonts and not feel limited to using the ones that Canva supplies (it is not to say that Canva’s fonts aren’t good, cause I definitely still use them).
Styled Stock Society – $20.18. If you’re wondering where I get my stock photos from, it’s Styled Stock Society. I love Styled Stock Society’s stock photos, they’re also super gorgeous and there are so many wonderful photos to choose from.
Easy On Page SEO by the Flooring Girl – $27 (promo price). I’m always looking for ways to improve my SEO and I feel like I am still so lost in the world of SEO. I decided to go ahead and purchase this eBook, because it is aimed towards beginners and that is where this book had me sold. The book is now being sold for $37, but I can tell you it is worth every penny, considering a lot of SEO courses and eBooks can priced at hundreds and nearly thousands of dollars.
Dana Nicole Designs Lightroom Mobile Presets – $30.00. I am actually slightly obsessed with Lightroom presets, they really make your photos for Instagram look fabulous. When I found out that Dana Nicole was having a buy 2 get 1 free deal on her Lightroom mobile presets, I jumped at the offer straight away and bought all of them! The sale is still on at the moment, so definitely go ahead and check them out! They’re stunning!
Amazon Gift Card – $20.00. Last month I hosted a giveaway with my subscribers and one lucky subscriber won a $20 Amazon gift card.
– Boost my traffic. I really want to at least start consistently getting over 2,000 views each month and keep on growing. One course that really helped me bring in traffic to my blog is Pinterest with Ell. This course has truly helped me out and I am going to retake this course during March, freshen up my pins and change up my pinning style.
Pinterest with Ell is currently on sale for $15 (the original price is $32, so go ahead and save yourself $17 for a limited of time only). Use the code ‘SPRINGAHEAD‘ at check out and grab it at this special price! Click here to grab your lifetime copy of Pinterest with Ell now!

Write down your thoughts, your goals, your to do lists etc… Notebooks play a big part in my everyday life and I use them everyday.
